  - A clean environment through recycling

• Objective

 - To maintain a clean environment through the sensibilization of businesses for not throwing the wastes in land and rivers, and the need of acting in a more ethical way, for protecting the environment.
- Sensibilizing and informing students as well as community about the environment through leaflets.
 - Putting shredders into university floors and other institutions as well as business companies.
 - Recycling the used paper, in order to stop the process of cutting trees.
-Putting different types of garbage-leafs in university and other institutions for glass, cans, and batteries.
- Garbage – bins
 - One warehouse for collecting the used paper
 - One van for transporting the paper and other wastes to the Recycling Companies

• Future goals
• It is a continuing project by having the goal of collecting and recycling glass and cans.
• Hence, by creating economic opportunities for SIFE and companies those use glass bottles and cans.
• Helping the Sponsors with marketing research and management issues by signing collaboration-contracts.   

We are witness of the global warming and the other related environmental issues, such as a continuous process of cutting trees, industrial wastes on rivers and land etc. As SIFE Organization, we took the initiative to sensibilize the population of our community for not throwing the garbages and wastes out of the bins, as well as putting dust-bins and other types of bins at University for recycling paper, batteries, glasses and cans.
SIFE Korca, in cooperation with the sponsors prepared leaflets and SIFE bought shredders for recycling the used paper at University and other companies. SIFE meet the students and the businesses of the town and discussed the way how to keep clean the ambient around them and how to be more responsible about the environment.
So, the primary purpose of our project is the sensibilization of community to protect the environment. We hope that businesses and students will be more focused at the management of the wastes from their activities, and will apply environmental politics, in order to protect the environment and to do business in a more ethical way as well as to be socially responsible for their activities.
    Korca, is a beautiful city with traditions which always has taken care about the ambient and the environment, so we hope that SIFE will achieve its goals year by year by having a clean environment through recycling.
