“AVERAGES” - OPEN LECTURE WITH FACULTY OF ECONOMY STUDENTS, INVITED THE LECTURER BESNIK NUREDINI

On June 19, 2019, the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economy, organized an open lecture about statistical services on the topic: “Averages”, where was invited the lecturer and economics specialist, Msc. Besnik Nuredini. The lecture was held in front of the students of study programs: “Management”, “Finance-Accounting” and “Assistant-Manager”. At the opening of the Lecture, the lecturer of Economic Statistics, Dr. Marinela Teneqexhi emphasized, that statistics have a comprehensive character in the calculation and interpretation of macroeconomic and microeconomic traders, having the concept of averages at the center. The lecturer, Dr. Emil Frashëri emphasized that the averages are related to important indicators as variance and covariance, relating best between different phenomena. The lecturer Msc. Besnik Nuredini presented some types of averages such as: arithmetic, conjunction, geometric, harmonic, chronological etc. He cited examples of their usage in different calculations in daily economic activities. In the end the students were involved in discussions and asked different questions.
